After two event date moves (but only weeks apart),this beautiful wedding finally came to pass in such a delightful manner.
This is our first time to work with Richel MascariƱas' team at the Mango Farm. His wife, Tess, who provides the management and creative support, was very nice. :-)
We made only one change to the floral arrangements: we decided to use bouvardia instead of the usual wax flowers owing to the former's non-popularity in Manila because of its cost (now we don't see it as often, which is sad). We're happy to finally use this particular flower in today's wedding. A member of the Rubiaceae family, the bouvardia is named for Dr. Charles Bouvard, a former superintendent of the Jardin du Roi in Paris and a physician to Louis XIII. Its common relatives include gardenias, sweet woodruff, coffee and galium. Vase life should be around 7-10 days.
Ian & Jen, all the best to you both! You deserve all the best in the world! :-)
