REAL WEDDING: EUGENE + CHEENA
---
I honestly don't think I'd ever get over how pretty this wedding was! The blend of colors (the marriage of gray + pink is just delightful!), the right amount of light, the charming wrought-iron chandelier (on loan to us by K. by Cunanan Catering until we get our own), the beautiful patterned fabric of the altar, the old louvre doors that we bought from our suki antique shop along Laong Laan St. in Manila, the beautiful weather...oh, the list just goes on and on!
We at Vatel Manila are proud that we continue to pioneer the SoCal look in the Philippine wedding scene and we're glad that we're starting to see the concept slowly catching on. Remember, you saw it here first! :-)
Anyhow, although Eugene & Cheena gave us an impression that they were cramming and pressed for time during their preps, the actual wedding day proved otherwise. Their vows were one of the best we've ever heard, and their reception details, smart and obviously well-thought out! Very impressive work! <3
Although we don't see it in this post, Cheena's bouquet was a gift of Eugene to her on her birthday (I was booked on her birthday, that is) and we're just elated to be part of their really beautiful wedding!
Eugene & Cheena, we may not have bonded much during the duration of your preps, but we wish you all the best because you deserve only the best.
We end this post by quoting my Mother's favorite poet, Robert Frost: "Two such as you with such a master speed / Cannot be parted nor be swept away / From one another once you are agreed / That life is only life forevermore / Together wing to wing and oar to oar."
Again, Congratulations and Best Wishes! God bless you! :-)
