Bride Lara has got to be one of the most low-key among the brides we've worked with. We don't recall having received any mood boards, any inspiration pegs, any instructions. We sent a costing, and after requesting that we add a few succulent cacti to her bouquet, she booked us.
A most amusing thing happened on the night before the wedding though. It appears that none of us (at least us and the photographer, R.A.W.) had her contact number. Also, we haven't received any advisory re: hotel and room assignment. We have to give it to R.A.W's Puy's excellent sleuthing abilities to save the day: he searched for her in Facebook and found her (or was it the Groom's?) mobile number there, ha ha! What fun!
Looking at these photos now, it's still unbelievable that there actually are tons of pretty details waiting for everyone to appreciate (and take shots of). Who was it who said that quiet people have the loudest minds? Ah, physicist Stephen Hawkings!
The bouquet we made for her (and its accompanying customized boutonniere) is one of our personal favorites for it's well thought-out design (IMHO!~), its color harmony, and the choice of flowers. That and R.A.W.'s awesome photos pretty much reflected the fun & laughter that was January 10, 2012. :-)
