And so it's come to pass. After just days of preparations, we finally launched our first collaboration with an exciting industry player, Purpledish Catering, run by CIA-trained Chef Velmor de Roña, last February 3 at their new home-venue, The Mango Farm.
The venue + catering package also include tablescapes by Vatel Manila, the Farm being our home court. Couples booked at the Farm will now experience the restrained elegance that have long characterized Vatel Manila reception setups. We are sure that Purpledish will be one of the more popular choices in the coming years.
Early in the day, Paul Vincent shot our two tablescapes for Inspirations, the new in-house magazine of Themes & Motifs. This issue will be out in March 2013 and will be distributed to couples who will be attending the wedding fair at the PICC Forum.
Later in the evening, we moved the two tables inside the Glass Pavilion for the sit-down, food-tasting event. We had a grand time introducing couples to our setups, Happy Summer (meant for a daytime event) and New York Penthouse (designed for nighttime receptions). We plan to make eight more tablescape concepts to accommodate all possible themes that are popular in weddings today (well, except anything related to 'vintage' or 'travel' perhaps, as these are quite common already). For those familiar with it, the black & white table was actually first designed for a magazine shoot 2 years ago at Dusit Hotel, and we are happy to finally use it for actual weddings.
Here's looking forward to more exciting times at our little patch of Eden. :-)
XOXO, Dylan
