REAL WEDDING: { MEL ANTHONY & LOUDETTE }

--
“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.” Rabindranath Tagore, Stray Birds

When I first saw Bride Loudette's pegs, I knew I had to do her flowers. There's a sense of randomness, a laid-back meadow-y feel to her concepts which we felt was a perfect match to what we do here at Vatel Manila. Add to the fact that their theme was 'Rustic Garden' so whoah, that totally brought me to floral heaven.

The color motif, too, was strong & vibrant, and although we've been criticized before for being an unabashed fan of color, we do not regret using colors any one bit. Because what is life without colors? I find comfort in art critic, John Rushkin, who said,"The purest and most thoughtful minds are those which love color the most."  So there. A pat on the back. ^_^

We also love how their photographer was able to see the smallest of details: candy hearts, twine, sparklers. Kudos to M.A. and Loudette for taking time to think of all these things. Details truly make an event very special by adding pizzazz & visual interest.

A few days after the wedding, Loudette posted a shot of her bridal bouquet on her Facebook wall with this line,"There were only two things I wanted to hold on my wedding day: my husband's hand and my bouquet."

{ I almost died. }

Thank you so much for that heart-warming line, Loudette! It made me appreciate more why I do what I do.

Much love, Dylan
