Was pleasantly surprised to see this set on Cocoon Studio's website. Obet and Marian are booked at our home base, The Mango Farm, and are due to wed in May 2014. It's so wonderful that they already did their engagement shoot while preps are still not on the upswing, which we think is a great idea as couples can be themselves, and there's no need to cram when the date's already near.
We just love the vista in this set, and the old growth Sequoia trees are just awe-inspiring! This area usually is shrouded in coastal marine layer fog because of its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, and is just perfect for shoots.
It's so nice that everything looked really relaxed and that Obet & Marian chose to shoot in the urban areas as well. Can't wait to see their wedding photos! ^_^

REAL WEDDING: { MIONG & SHERYL }
--
It always feels great seeing photos of our Boracay weddings. Truth be told, photos are actually hard to come by and since we've done so many already, it's a little sad that we can't help promote the uniqueness of celebrating weddings in such an awesome place. That is why our heart skipped a beat when we saw this set featured on Bride & Breakfast. We just l-o-v-e all the details! When we got the costing form back, we were only given 'Tiffany Blue' as the only working color and looking at these photos, we just adore how everything look so well put together. From the shoes, the lovely cake, especially the bride's maids dresses - everything was so pretty and well-thought out.
Photographers Jorem & Sheila Catilo made everything look so cool to the eyes - who would have thought this was during the hot hot hot (did we emphasize that enough?) month of March 2012? Seeing these photos, one can see that there's just love and fun in equal measure. Beach weddings really look warm and laid back. Then again, how can one ever forget how effervescent and free it all feels during summertime? Ah, memories! ^_^
