REAL WEDDING: { JAIME & MICHELLE }

--
This was a wedding we worked on in November of 2012 and although almost a year old already, it still feels and looks fresh. Which brings us to the topic of today's post: the classic look. Weddings these past few years have been more playful and adventurous. Thematic weddings are practically the rage these days: there's no wedding that comes to past that doesn't have at least the travel (or the usual shabby chic-rustic-vintage) elements in it and sometimes it makes us wonder if the clean and classic idea of a wedding is already boring for today's couples.

Good thing that there are still those like Jaime & Michelle who still subscribe to the old ideal - the look of classic weddings will always endure. Nothing could be more romantic than a pastel palette and photographer, Toto Villaruel, just captured this wedding oh so beautifully! The light was just stunning! The challenge though in shooting classic weddings is that there aren't many details to overwhelm the photographer, so he / she can focus on taking shots of the candids / formals, and play with available elements (the playful ring shot above, for example, is just brilliant in its simplicity).

It's so refreshing to see something like this every once in a while. It reminds us of how the simplest things can oftentimes be the prettiest. ^_^
